About Ronaldas Buožis

I'm a cinematographer based in Vilnius, working across narrative features, commercials and music videos.

I spent several years working in London, shooting music videos and commercials for clients including Corinne Bailey Rae, Coleen Rooney and Longines, before returning to Lithuania. Since then I've shot four feature films and worked as camera operator on international productions filming in the Baltics.

I know the crews, the locations and the light here. For incoming productions that matters — it's the difference between a schedule that holds and one that doesn't.

I light for the story rather than the frame. Most of my narrative work is handheld or on a fluid head; I prefer to stay close to performance and let the camera respond to it rather than lock it down and wait.
